VisualSonics' Vevo 770 provides a method for efficiently viewing extremely small physiological structures and for imaging living tissue and blood flow near-microscopic resolution. The system is non-invasive, offers spatial resolution down to 30 microns.
The Vevo 770 applications:
-
Non-invasive, in vivo visualization of embryonic (E5.5) through to adult mice in real-time
-
Ability to perform longitudinal studies of disease progression and regression in individual subjects.
-
Image resolution of anatomical and physiological structures of down to 30 microns.
-
Ability to visualize image-guided needle injection and extraction.
-
Microcirculatory and cardiovascular blood flow assessment.
The facility is located in the building of preclinical experiments on the second floor.

Vevo Integrated Rail System - The integrated rail system allows for quick set-up, alignment and adjustment of the RMV (Real-time micro-visualization) scanhead and the injection system (for image-guided injection applications). The scanhead transmits and receives high-resolution real-time ultrasound signals - at resolutions down to 30 microns. The heated table allows the researcher to secure the mouse quickly and ensure optimal comfort for the duration of the imaging session.
