INCPM

Spearheaded by the Weizmann Institute of Science, the creation of the Israel National Center for Personalized Medicine (INCPM) represents a unique opportunity to build on the foundation of excellence in genomics and bioinformatics prowess existing in Israel. Under the auspices of the INCPM, multidisciplinary, multi-institutional teams will conduct collaborative research that will lead to major discoveries as to the genetic and molecular basis of disease and translate them to the clinic. It will likewise strengthen Israel’s scientific community by attracting Israeli students and scientists working abroad to return to Israel to pursue a career in science by offering them the world-class infrastructure they need to pursue groundbreaking research.
