Shahar Biniamini & Shani Garfinkel (former dancers at the Batsheva Dance Company; see details below), and Prof Atan Gross, have initiated a course at the Feinberg Graduate School entitled “Between Movement & Science”. This course has been running for two years (Academic years 2013/14 and 2014/2015) and a 3rd course will open this year (Academic year 2015/16; 2nd semester) entitled “Systems Movement” (https://www.weizmann.ac.il/feinberg/career/programs/systems-movement)

Teachers of the course:

Mr. Shahar Biniamini:
Shahar was born in 1988, joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2006 and Batsheva Dance Company after two years. He danced with the main company from 2008 until 2013 and served as the artistic director of the "Batsheva Dancers Create project". Shahar teaches Gaga, the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin, since 2008.

Ms. Shani Garfinkel:
Shani was born in 1985, joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2003 and the Batsheva Dance Company in 2007 for six years. During 2007, Shani danced and taught Ohad Naharin's repertory at Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, New York.  Since 2004 Shani teaches Gaga and as of 2013 operates as an independent dancer and teacher in different frameworks.
