About the service
Molecular modeling is a wide field of research, which includes analysis and prediction of molecular structures and activities. The macromolecular modeling service focuses on bio-molecules and offers diverse structure analysis and modeling services.
These include
- Comparative modeling of proteins, namely, predicting the structure of a protein based on its sequence similarity to proteins of known structure;
- Protein-protein docking with MolFit, i.e., predicting the structure of a complex of two or more molecules whose structures are known or can be modeled;
- Conformational dynamics of proteins and short peptides
- Comparison and docking of electron microscopy maps.
Molecular modeling is a predictive tool that can address a variety of questions. For example: How do molecules A and B interact and which residues are in involved in the interaction?
