- We search for an Electronic engineer specializing, and with strong experience, in FPGA programming
- Our group builds specialized electronics and its supporting software for scientific research in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the Institute and at collaborating laboratories abroad
- The engineer will work with a small team designing and programming FPGAs for FPGA-based instrumentation for data acquisition, data processing and control of experiments
- The team also contributes to the hardware specifications of the needed FPGA-based instrumentation
השכלה וכישורים נדרשים:
- At least a first degree in Electronic, Computer or Software Engineering
- At least 2 years' experience in FPGA programming
- :Specifically, we require expertise with
- o the VHDL high-level design language
- o Xilinx FPGAs and the Vivado tools
- o clock handling, pipelines and multiple clock domains
- :Advantageous: additional FPGA experience with
- o difficult timing closures and floor mapping
- o gigabit transceivers
- o DSP blocks
- :Other advantageous experience
- design of analog and digital electronic boards
- programming micro-controllers
- low-frequency analog electronics
- fast pulse electronics
