This is the first in a series of workshops to promote the emergence of a community interested in developing and standardizing methods and reporting guidelines for the characterization of natural products and the annotation and identification of other small molecules including metabolites, with a preferential focus on small molecules. The interested community works in NMR, MS and bioinformatics of complex mixtures of natural origin.  For more information: http://www.icsn.cnrs-gif.fr/aisbm
