Doctoral Position in NMR Dynamics of Membrane Proteins at HHU Duesseldorf

We are looking for a dedicated doctoral candidate interested in working on a doctoral thesis project in the field of NMR structure & dynamics of membrane-associated autophagy-related proteins at the Institute for
Physical Biology at Heinrich Heine University Duesseldorf.

The salary is according to the standard government pay scale for scientific employees.

The project is embedded into several established collaborations and the graduate school of the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1208 "Identity and Dynamics of Membrane Systems - from Molecules to Cellular Functions": http://www.sfb1208.hhu.de/en.html

The Biomolecular NMR Center of Heinrich Heine University is located at the Research Center Jülich close to Cologne and Aachen in the tri-border area between Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. It presently comprises 11 state-of-the-art high-field NMR spectrometers from 600 MHz to 900 MHz for both, solution and solid-state NMR spectroscopy, as well as excellent protein biochemistry and biophysics laboratory facilities.
