IDNMR project: Position for Programming/Interface Development, University of Cologne

For the further development of a data processing workflow for small molecule NMR data in synthesis, we would like to announce, together with our collaboration partners from cheminfo.org and under the auspices of the Magnetic Resonance Division of GDCh, the opening of an interface developer position with the deadline for applications being 21st of January.

The successful candidate will be part of the DFG-funded IDNMR project, an exciting chemoinformatics initiative which is led by NMR groups from the universities of Cologne and Mainz, in close collaboration with chemoinformatics groups in Switzerland and Colombia. Workplace will be in Cologne.

Tasks include the development of a multifunctional user interface and the development of open source tools for the online processing of scientific data, thereby creating a data workflow from experimental source to publication, integrating existing open source applications and developing new ones. The intention is to integrate processing, assignment, database and LIMS environments in a common protocol.
