NMR Instrumentation Specialist position

Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.

Instrumentation Specialist -- Instrumentation Facility Manager to manage, administer, instruct, train, and maintain an instrumentation facility for NMR/MS researchers, working under the supervision of the department chair.  The department has several NMR spectrometers operating up to 850 MHz and several MS instruments.

Require:  Ph.D. in chemistry or related field or a Master’s in chemistry or a related field with three years of experience in a comparable position; expertise in the areas of NMR spectroscopy.

Desire:  Experience with MS instrumentation; experience managing an instrumentation facility, maintain a liquid He recovery system, and training students.
