Research description

The successful candidate will work in the NMR-based Biophysics laboratory with prof. Esposito. A Bruker Avance 500 MHz spectrometer is exclusively available to the group. Access to European large facilities will be available when necessary.  The subjects currently addressed  by the Udine group are related to the interactions of some amyloidogenic proteins with other proteins, small ligands and nanoparticles. Besides NMR, other techniques such as optical spectroscopies, electron microscopy and microcalorimetry may also be used, along with computational modeling under the guidance of prof. Federico Fogolari.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in chemistry, physics,  biochemistry, biotechnology or a related field. Candidates with background in biomolecular chemistry, biomolecular NMR spectroscopy or structural biology will be preferred.
