PhD positions are available in the groups of of Prof. Alexej Jerschow and Prof. Nate Traaseth at New York University.

A wide range of opportunities exist for student trainees, including the development and application of MRI technology, hyperpolarization, study of nuclear spin singlet states, and solid-state and solution NMR on a range of systems from materials and batteries to biological macromolecules.


We strongly encourage applications from prospective PhD students to the Department of Chemistry at New York University for graduate studies in NMR spectroscopy and imaging. PhD students receive full tuition benefits and a generous stipend to pursue graduate studies.
