post-doc in University of Warwick Solid-State NMR group

Applications are invited for a 3-year Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work under the supervision of Dr Józef Lewandowski and Professor Steven P. Brown, so as to implement advanced experimental solid-state NMR pulse sequence methodology and to use related simulation and calculation programs to study proteins, pharmaceuticals & supramolecular self-assembly.

Candidates must have completed (or be soon to complete) a PhD or equivalent in chemistry or physics or a related discipline. A proven ability in innovative and effective experimental research is essential. Applications are encouraged from candidates with demonstrable research experience in applying NMR spectroscopy to organic molecules (including either or both small and moderately sized molecules such as pharmaceuticals and biological macromolecules). While solid-state NMR experience is an advantage, applicants from candidates with a strong solution-state NMR background are also welcomed.
