Postdoc position - Breeze lab, Astbury Centre, Leeds, UK

 

A 2-year postdoc position is available in the lab of Prof Alexander L Breeze at the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, University of Leeds, to work on NMR, biophysical and crystallographic studies of compound binding to a cancer drug target. The project is a collaboration with medicinal chemistry colleagues in Newcastle University, and is funded by the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (UK).

 

You will have access to the outstanding £17M facilities of the Astbury BioStructure Laborarory, which include a new 950 MHz (with TXO cryoprobe) and fully upgraded cryoprobe-equipped 600 and 750 MHz Bruker AV III HD spectrometers, as well as two new FEI Titan Krios Cryo-EMs.
