Postdoctoral position in HR-MAS metabolomics at CEA-Saclay, France

A one-year postdoc position is available in the NMR group (LSDRM) at CEA-Saclay, about 20km south of Paris.

The project aim is to establish a new NMR technique for profiling of tiny-scale ‘ug’ specimens using a recently developed HRuMAS probe (JEOL)

 [Analyst, 140, 8097 (2015); Anal Methods, 8, 6815 (2016)].

The postdoc will be in charge of evaluating the performance of HRuMAS, establishing reliable experimental protocols for metabolomic studies, and applying to metabolomic studies. He/she will be collaborating with various groups in France and also with JEOL in Japan.

The successful candidate should have experience in NMR-based metabolomic studies (preferably with HR-MAS) and in multivariate data analysis, and be willing to explore ‘new’ NMR methodologies.

The interested candidates should send their application (a CV with a cover letter and two reference contacts) to Alan Wong:  For more information please contact Alan Wong.
