Postdoctoral Position at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA – Structural biology of Chromatin Binding Proteins

A Postdoctoral position is available to a highly motivated recent PhD graduate. The focus will be on the characterization of chromatin-binding proteins broadly involved in the DNA damage response using NMR spectroscopy. The work will be done in close collaboration with cell biologists.
The preferred candidate will have expertise in modern NMR pulse programs and experience working with large proteins. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. While the primary approach will be NMR spectroscopy, the laboratory is also well equipped for X-ray crystallography. Complementary crystallographic studies may be undertaken.
