TWO POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS: MRI of Rechargeable Batteries, and Nuclear Spin Singlet Lifetimes, NYU

Two postdoc positions are open in the Jerschow lab at New York University:

1) A postdoctoral position is available immediately to complete our team working on in-situ and in operando NMR/MRI of batteries and electrochemical devices.

2) A postdoctoral position is available immediately for the study of nuclear spin singlet state life times and singlet relaxation mechanisms, the development of efficient singlet/triplet conversion pulse sequences and methodology, as well as para-hydrogen induced polarization (PHIP)

Expertise or interest in machine/deep learning would be of advantage for #1, and expertise in MD simulations for #2, but not required. Strong expertise in experimental NMR/MRI work is expected.

There is also an opportunity to be involved in other ongoing projects in the laboratory. The lab is located in newly renovated facilities of the Molecular Nanoscience Center at NYU’s Washington Square Campus in the heart of Manhattan.
