The Weizmann Institute and Collège de France signed a memorandum of understanding on December 4 to jointly advanced scientific research projects.

Prof. Thomas Römer, Administrator of the Collège de France; Prof. Alon Chen, President of the Weizmann Institute of Science; and Maurice Lévy, President of Weizmann France, signed the MOU on December 4. While a growing number of scientists at the Weizmann Institute and Collège de France are in the process of developing research collaborations, this represents a formal agreement between the two institutions solidifying a common objective to advance multidisciplinary collaboration and innovation across both institutions.

The signing of the MOU follows a visit by four professors from the Collège de France to the Weizmann Institute in September, Profs. Marc Fontecave, Jean-François Joanny, Thomas Lecuit, and Hugues de Thé, who identified subjects of common interest during that visit.
