Weizmann Lecture in Berlin

The German Society of Friends of the Weizmann Institute, chaired by Dr. Manfred Gentz, hosted its annual lecture on February 15 in Berlin.

Keynote speaker Prof. Irit Sagi of the Department of Biological Regulation and Dean of the Feinberg Graduate School talked about recent research conducted in her lab.

More than 80 guests attended her lecture, entitled “Thinking Outside the Cell”. The lecture was followed by a private dinner with the members of the board, and the advisory board of the German Society. For more than 35 years, the German Society has advanced the German public’s awareness of Weizmann scientific research and the Institute’s mission of advancing knowledge for the benefit of humanity.
