One of the greatest challenges that faces many outstanding woman scientists that wish to become a PI in academia is uprooting their families to embark on a postdoc abroad.
The office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Gender Equality is happy to invite women PhD students and spouses to an evening of wine & cheese to hear directly the perspective
of women scientists and their spouses who have made the decision to go on a postdoc outside of Israel.
This is also an opportunity to discuss similar concerns with fellow female PhD students and their spouses.
Round table members:
Dr. Meital Oren, Department of Brain Sciences, and Elroi Oren
Dr. Leeat Yankielowicz-Keren, Department of Molecular Cell Biology, and Yuval Keren
Dr. Michal Leskes, Department of Molecular Chemistry and Materials Science, and Shai Barlev
