About the Group:
Mobileye's autonomous vehicle programs group manages Mobileye's lead product - the Autonomous Vehicle kit. the AV kit provides the full AV functionality stack to OEM customers and partners - Perception, mapping, localization, driving policy, control and safety layers. The group manages and coordinates internal development efforts with lead customers' requirements and customizations at early development stages.
What will YOU do?
As the project manager leading the perception layer of the AV kit you will:
Interact with Mobileye's lead customers to align and agree on perception concepts and customization.
Align internal development efforts of the various departments - Algo development, Architecture, PSW, Validation, AV prototype - to define and achieve all AV kit requirements.
Manage SW version release process to all advanced AV development projects..
Closely work with all other AV kit PMs to analyse and evaluate the effect on perception performance by any change in requirements.
These include the following types of tasks:
Intensive contact with customers, possibly including weekly calls and frequent visits to customer sites. First line of decision making for requirement change requests.
Deep diving into perception algorithmic process done by Mobileye. A clear understanding of ME Algo is a must. A good ability to prioritize and filter information flow both ways between ME and the customers is required.
Managing a long term Gantt of SW releases, working closely with integration and validation teams, as well as with release managers of the other ME major releases. Working closely with API teams to keep APIs up to date.
Masters in exact sciences or computer sciences.
Significant experience in managing large and complex SW projects. Projects in large companies an advantage.
Experience / deep understanding of machine learning concepts, computer vision / radar / Lidar a significant advantage.
Very good understanding of programming concepts and strong technical ability.
Very good interpersonal skills, communicating easily with people of all kinds and backgrounds.
Very good ability to work under pressure, transparently prioritizing tasks.
Quick learner, ability to learn very large amounts of new and exciting information in a very short time.
Independent, able to a take quick decisions even with limited information.
Fluent English a must.
