Biolojic Design, Ltd., a leading-edge company that designs multi-specific human antibodies, is seeking for a motivated research assistants to join one of our leading projects and take part in assay development and in-vitro antibody characterization.
Responsibilities:
▪ Execution of various biological research methods and data analysis
▪ Design and execution of biological experiments using standard cell-lines and primary blood samples (e.g. hPBMCs)
▪ Design and execution of standard biochemical experiments (ELISA, Western blot, etc.)
▪ Design and execution of standard molecular experiments (DNA purification, PCR, etc.)
▪ Documentation and presentation of scientific and experimental work
▪ Meeting project goals and timelines
Hands-on experience:
▪ Cell culture techniques (sterile and proper work habits, experience with different cell types and maintenance of mammalian cell lines/primary cells)
▪ Flow cytometry and FACS
▪ Primary cell isolation and characterization (e.g. blood samples)
Qualifications:
▪ M.Sc. degree in life sciences
▪ Previous work experience with hPBMCs - advantage
Personal skills:
▪ Team player with good interpersonal skills
▪ Self-motivated with a can-do positive attitude
▪ Ability to take responsibilities and reach targets
▪ Ability to work and think independently, as well as part of a team
▪ Fast learner, multitasker, well organized with the ability to keep accurate records
