Job brief
Beewise is looking for a chemical sensing expert to join our research team. The chemical sensing expert will be in charge of Beewise experimental research in chemical sensing technologies in bee hives.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute all Beewise experimental research in chemical sensing.
On-going work with other researches and other Beewise teams such as R&D, Product and engineering.
Help define Beewise long-term research-goals in the field of hive chemical sensing.
Hands-on exploration and testing of chemical sensing technologies.
Conduct literature surveys in fields related to the chemical sensing and bee hive chemistry.
On-going reporting of experimental results.
Work in tandem with the R&D team in order to implement chemical sensing technologies in the company products.
Provide input and consulting to the company patent attorneys on Beewise patents related to chemical sensing.
Requirements
Phd in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related fields.
Hands on experience with chemical sensing technologies.
Industry experience - an advantage.
Creative.
Team Player.
Good communication and writing skills in English.
