Gene Therapy Unit at Sheba Medical Centre is looking for highly qualified scientists

The Wohl Institute for Translational Medicine at the Sheba Medical Centre is seeking an energetic and highly motivated scientist to join our gene therapy development program for treatment of rare diseases.

We are currently in the process of forging a new exciting unit dedicated to gene editing and Oligonucleotides- based therapeutics for rare diseases. Our main interest lies in the deciphering of novel genetic and epigenetic mechanisms affecting gene expression and their implication in rare diseases, and in using these mechanisms for RNA-based tailored treatments for patients.

Requirements:

1. PhD degree in life sciences
2. Hands-on experience with cell-culture and molecular biology.
3. Experience with animal models – an advantage
