We are seeking a motivated research assistant / lab technician to join one of our leading projects and take part in assay development and in-vitro antibody characterization.
Responsibilities:
▪ Design and execution of various biological research methods: standard cell-lines and primary blood samples (e.g. hPBMCs), biochemical experiments (ELISA, Western blot, etc.), molecular experiments (DNA purification, PCR, etc.)
▪ Data analysis, documentation and presentation of scientific and experimental work.
▪ Meeting project goals and timelines
Preferable hands-on experience:
▪ Cell culture techniques (sterile and proper work habits, experience with different cell types and maintenance of mammalian cell lines/primary cells)
▪ Flow cytometry and FACS
▪ Primary cell isolation and characterization (e.g. blood samples)
Qualifications:
▪ M.Sc. degree in life sciences or B.Sc. degree in life sciences with at least 2 years of laboratory experience – must
▪ Previous work experience with hPBMCs - advantage
▪ Previous work experience in the industry – advantage
Personal skills:
▪ Team player with good interpersonal skills
▪ Self-motivated with a can-do positive attitude
▪ Ability to take responsibilities and reach targets
▪ Ability to work and think independently, as well as part of a team
▪ Fast learner, multitasker, well organized with the ability to keep accurate records
