Mr. Marshall Bennett

Sep 19, 1921 — Oct 13, 2018

Throughout his life, Marshall Bennett was a hardworking and talented businessman, and a true pioneer of Chicago’s real estate scene. He made a real contribution by passing his knowledge forward to the next generation of real estate professionals as co-founder of the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate at Roosevelt University. However, his greatest impact may have been in the way he touched so many people, through his deep involvement with the world of philanthropy. Marshall was a very active and valuable member of the International Board of the Weizmann Institute, in which he served as a Life Member.

His memory will live on here at the Weizmann Institute through his generous support of the Marshall Bennett Fund for Higher Education and the Marshall and Arlene Bennett Family Fund. His partnership with the Women’s Health Research Center at the Weizmann Institute, through the Bennett-Pritzker Endowment Fund, continues to be deeply appreciated.

To all those who knew him, and those who knew him only by reputation, Marshall’s loss is great indeed.
