Your role will include:

responsibility for the engineering, operation, and maintenance of the Institute’s communication network, including:

  • Managing user and Data Center networks based on Cisco technologies
  • Managing campus wireless networks using Cisco WiFi6(e)
  • Managing student dormitory networks based on Meraki solutions
  • Supporting the communication infrastructure of the Institute’s IP telephony system
  • Managing the building control network
  • Managing and maintaining the organizational IPAM system
  • Managing and maintaining load balancers
  • Providing Tier 3 support and troubleshooting across campus
  • Leading large-scale projects in the field of communication infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting network faults and providing service to customers
  • Defining, designing, and implementing communication equipment in campus LAN and Data Center environments

Skills and abilities:

  • Valid Cisco certification at the level of CCNP/CCDP – mandatory
  • (Valid Cisco CCIE certification and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering field – advantage)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a communication team within a large and complex organization – mandatory
  • At least 3 years of experience in planning and maintaining Cisco-based communication networks, working with Catalyst 9K and Nexus equipment – mandatory
  • High-level proficiency in English, including the ability to write technical documentation – mandatory
  • Experience in writing Python scripts – advantage
  • Experience working with Ansible – advantage
  • Experience in maintaining Cisco SDN networks – advantage
  • Experience in maintaining Cisco security components – advantage
  • Extensive knowledge of communication protocols and infrastructure applications – DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, OSPF, VSS, VPC, MST
  • Knowledge and experience in radio technology and maintaining wireless networks – advantage
  • Experience maintaining networks with IP Telephony – advantage
  • Experience maintaining IPAM services – advantage
  • Familiarity with management systems (e.g., Cisco Catalyst Center) – advantage
