Your role will include:
- Developing tools and methodologies for teaching Data Science in the fields of biology and medicine.
- Building advanced exercises and lesson plans in computational research methods and applied statistics, with an emphasis on clinical and biological data.
- Guiding students in building and validating complex models, while imparting tools for code review and model performance evaluation in the age of AI.
- Accompanying and mentoring the department's teaching staff and teaching assistants.
- Integrating advanced algorithms and tools for data analysis and modeling, such as: Machine Learning & Deep Learning
Single cell RNA-Seq / ATAC-Seq / ChIP-Seq / GWAS

Skills and abilities:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Biology, or a related scientific field – required; Ph.D. is an advantage.
- Experience: At least two years of practical work experience as a Data Scientist in data analysis, and in using or developing Machine Learning models, in industry or in a computational lab.
- Experience developing in Python and working with relevant Data Science libraries (such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).
- Familiarity and hands-on experience using modern AI tools.
- Languages: Native-level Hebrew and English.
- Advantage: Prior experience in teaching, academic tutoring, or developing and designing learning/training materials.
