Your role will include:
Participation in a research project in the laboratory of Professor Atan Gross, focusing on the development of a therapeutic treatment for Parkinson's disease and investigating the enhancement of the glycolysis pathway as a mechanism to compensate for impaired mitochondrial function in Parkinson's disease.
Skills and abilities:
- PhD in Life Sciences – required.
- Knowledge and experience working with neuronal cell cultures – required.
- Knowledge and experience in cell biology, biochemistry, cell-based assays, and fluorescence microscopy – required.
- Knowledge and experience with in vivo models of Parkinson's disease – an advantage.
- Experience with mitochondrial assays – an advantage.
- High proficiency in Hebrew and English.
- Ability to drive processes and advance projects.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creativity, initiative, and high motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
