Your role will include:
- The position involves laboratory work, including, among other responsibilities:
- DNA sequencing and sample preparation, from receipt of samples through delivery of results to researchers.
- Operating sequencing instruments and laboratory robots, as well as assisting with troubleshooting and technical issues.
- Providing support and training to users in routine laboratory procedures and the operation of scientific equipment.
Skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences – required (Master’s degree – an advantage).
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques – required.
- Strong technical skills and aptitude.
- Excellent command of computer applications and Microsoft Office.
- Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsibility, initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to independently acquire new knowledge and stay up to date.
