Yael Avni

I am a theoretical physicist studying non-equilibrium statistical physics and soft condensed matter. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Chicago in the group of Prof. Vincenzo Vitelli. Before that, I completed my PhD at Tel Aviv University with Prof. David Andelman. I will be starting my group at the Weizmann Institute in Fall 2026.
