After more than 2 years not being in-person, we are pleased to announce the 18th annual meeting of the Medicinal Chemistry Section of the Israel Chemical Society that will take place at the Weizmann institute of science, on July 31st, 2022.

This conference will bring together the medicinal chemistry and chemical biology communities in Israel. Notably, Research leaders from Israel and abroad in these domains will be taking part in the scientific program.

Awards

• The 2022 Award for Excellence in Medicinal Chemistry in Memory of Barry Cohen will be awarded to Prof. Carolyn R. Bertozzi
• We will announce the winner of the 2022 NCK prize for outstanding young medicinal chemist
• Best student poster awards will be selected from presented posters
• Best student presentation award will be selected from flash talks

This event will include a poster session and flash talks, providing an opportunity for early career researchers, and students to share and discuss their recent research advances and to network with other delegates. Abstracts are welcomed from PhD students postdoctoral researchers and early career academics.
