Israel-Turkey workshop on nanoscale science and nanotechnology

welcome,

Israel and Turkey are close neighbors in the east basin of the Mediterranean sea with historical ties that go back to the Roman period and even before. The two nations have established strong economic ties over the past decades. Both have committed considerable resources to nanoscale research and relevant scientific infrastructure, to foster research in nanoscience and nanotechnology.

In this bilateral workshop, researchers from the two countries will present and discuss advances and exchange ideas in the field, including nanophotonics, nanomaterials, nano-energy and nano-bio S&T, with the goal of promoting scientific collaborations.

A large delegation consisting of some 18 professors and 15 students from the best universities in Turkey will convene with their Israeli counterparts in the Weizmann Institute of Science and in Bar-Ilan University.
