Professor Nathan Sharon will be 80 in November 2005, and on this occasion we two have joined forces to honor him by organizing a 2-day Symposium at the Weizmann Institute of Science entitled: "Half a Century at the Carbohydrate-Protein Interface"
Nathan has been a leading figure in the carbohydrate and glycoprotein community for the past 50 years, and his prolific contributions to the field are truly remarkable. This Symposium, in his honor, promises to be an exciting meeting for many international leaders in the field.
