RANDOMMESS, COMPLEXITY AND CRYPTOGRAPHY

This workshop is a tribute to the prolific and highly influential academic career of Professor Oded Goldreich, on the occasion of his 60th birthday. Oded made key contributions to a number of areas within the foundations of computer science, predominantly cryptography, pseudorandomness, computational complexity, sublinear algorithms, property testing and many other areas involving the interplay between computational complexity and randomness.

The workshop consists of technical sessions and evening social events on both days. The technical sessions consist of tutorials and survey talks, interleaved with new research. The hope is to have researchers and students learn about the state of the art and the contributions of Oded even in areas which are outside their expertise.

We apologize for not being able to accommodate all that would have liked to present at the technical sessions. If you'd like to make a toast or give a brief presentation at the social events, please write to odedfest@gmail.com. Please indicate the expected length of your presentation, whether you would prefer to talk on Wednesday or Thursday night, and any other information that might help. We expect to have an overhead projector In both evening events.
