WELCOME

With an increasing demand for innovative medical products, sustainable production of a variety of compounds and alternative sources of energy, synthetic biology emerges at an exceptional time of need. Our ability to engineer biological systems holds great promise in tackling these challenges resulting in unique solutions based on groundbreaking work from genetic and biomedical engineering, computer science and systems biology. The conference will feature the latest synthetic biology advances, powerful technologies and recent applications to make the world a better place and is presented by both Israeli and international speakers from academia and industry. This event will bring together young scientists and leading innovators to create a platform, during the poster session and networking events, to stimulate discussions, have fun and contribute to the growing synthetic biology ecosystem.

Special sessions

  • Short talks from past iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) competition teams
  • Networking session over drinks and snacks
  • Short talks from abstracts

We would like to thank all of our speakers, sponsors and participants for a great conference. We appreciate the positive feedback we received and the suggestions for making this conference an annual event. Therefore, we will be organizing another conference next year, stay tuned!
