Pre conference satellite symposium
The symposium will be held at The David Lopatie Conference Centre, on the campus of the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel.
Rehovot is located in the center of the country, ca. 20 km south of Tel Aviv.
April 8th

From the Weizmann Institute to Ein Gedi: a bus will depart from the Lopatie Conference Center at 9:00AM, free of charge.
From Tel Aviv to Ein Gedi: Bus will depart from Tel Aviv (TBA) at 9:00AM, cost 100NIS (approx. $27).
From Ben Gurion Airport to Ein Gedi: Bus will depart from Ben Gurion Airport (TBA) at 9:00AM, cost 100NIS (approx. $27).
April 11th
From Ein Gedi to Ben Gurion Airport and Tel Aviv via Jerusalem: Busses will depart at 3PM, cost 100NIS (approx. $27).
The distance between Ben-Gurion airport and Ein Gedi is approximately 130 km/80 miles. The trip takes about 2.5 hours.
Alternative transportation to and from Ein-Gedi
If your arrival or departure does not coincide with the shuttle buses arranged by the conference, or you wish to travel independently, you have three options:
Regular busses – via Jerusalem central bus station station, about every hour.
Taxi – can be hired with no prior arrangements directly from the taxi stand at prices starting at 150/180 Euro for a day/night trip and depends on the number of people, suitcases and specific route chosen (For more information see here).
Rental Car – The distance between Ben-Gurion airport and Ein Gedi is approximately 130 km/80 miles. The trip takes 2-2.5 hours.
