Ein Bokek, Israel - February 20-25, 2005

FRISNO-8, the 8th European/French Israeli Symposium on Nonlinear and Quantum Optics, was held in Ein Bokek, on the shores of the Dead Sea in Israel from February 20-25, 2005. Approximately 150 people registered and attended the conference. There were 42 oral talks in 14 sessions and over 70 posters in two evening poster sessions. We had two social events – a Dead Sea Mud party on the beach, and an excursion to Massada followed by a traditional Bedouin dinner.

In some cases a ZIP file is provided, which includes additional material such as movies that were shown as part of the presentation.
The material presented at the conference may have included unpublished results, and thus should be treated as private communication. Please consult the authors prior to quoting unpublished results.

FRISNO-9 will be held on the French Alps in two years, February-March 2007 . An exact location and date will be published in due course, and notices sent to those on the Frisno mailing list.
