About us
Our group is interested in understanding the self-assembling behaviour of biological materials in living systems. By utilising natural building blocks such as proteins, peptides, polynucleic acids and their complexes for biomaterials synthesis we aim to unravel the processes leading either to function or to failure and dysfunction of biological contracts at very fundamental level.
The techniques used in our laboratory includes protein chemistry, confocal and scanning-probe microscopy, sonochemistry, microfluidics and spectroscopy.
