Advanced Services|In Vivo Ultrasound


The unit offers small-animal, non-invasive, ultrasound-based imaging with high spatial resolution.

You must have an approved IACUC protocol, under which these animals will be studied.


The ultrasound is available to anyone who is authorized. Please contact Dr. Hanna Bueno-Levy for authorization process. Authorization will require a training process (please do not start your experiment before authorization).
All experiments must be scheduled online through Internal Services > InVivo Optical Imaging Unit/ Ultrasound.

  • Scientists should acknowledge the use of the Xenogen Living Image® software, Imaging System and Xenogen Technology in any publication or press release containing data generated using the IVIS Spectrum
  • Scientists should acknowledge the Ridgefield Foundation and The Israel Science Foundation Converging Technologies Program in publications using the IVIS spectrum, The VisualSonics ultrasound and the Mauna Kea CellVizio system.
