VNOC (Video Network Operation Center)
The VNOC (Video Network Operation Center) team was established in September of 2025, to optimize delivery of multimedia-related services to the Institute employee and student communities.
Since its establishment, any and all multimedia-related inquiries (fault reporting, or support, service, guidance or assistance requests) are centrally managed by the team, which serves as the primary focal point for this domain.
In addition to handling inquiries, the team is proactively involved in the following areas:
- Ongoing multimedia system monitoring.
- Periodic field inspections.
- Advance fault detection.
- Continuous user experience streamlining.
The team maintains a telephone service desk, available Sunday through Thursday, between 08:00-18:00, at extension *3200, and may alternatively be contacted by e-mail at VNOC@weizmann.ac.il.
Aside from telephone-based service, the team employs advanced multimedia system monitoring and support capabilities. In many cases, it’s able to detect and remediate faults from afar, and can also dispatch field technicians on request, if local assistance is required.
Subject to advance coordination, the team can additionally provide assistance and training on proper use of systems towards lectures, meetings and events, so as to ensure smooth and fault-free operation.
In short, we invite you to focus completely on your content, and contact us whenever the need arises. We’ll take care of the technology side for you, no problem.
