The Metabolic Research Forum of the Weizmann Institute provides an interdepartmental venue for this field, with the goal of facilitating communication, collaboration and new initiatives.

The forum consists of several research groups, which work on diverse topics related to diabetes, obesity and obesity-related diseases. The research emerges from the cellular and organ levels through the whole organism level. As part of the forum activities we hold a monthly seminar series and an annual meeting featuring invited and local speakers in the area of molecular metabolism
