Accessing Your EmailThe Computing Center operates two major mail servers:
These servers employ both the POP and IMAP mail protocols. The Computing Center recommends that you use IMAP, whose primary advantage is that the mail messages are not downloaded to your local machine. IMAP also enables you to manage your mail folders more efficiently.
Both the above servers can be accessed either via a Mail Client installed directly on your local machine, or via Web Access, which provides a secure connection to your mail from any computer, anywhere.
