Antivirus Protection for your Personal Computer

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 11.0.5002.333 is the current version of the antivirus protection we recommend, which replaces all previous Symantec Anti Virus (SAV) versions (version 10 or below).

In order to protect the Weizmann Institute network against viruses and other malicious programs, and especially against Zero Day Attacks within the Institute’s network, all personal computers must have SEP version 11 installed such that the definition files are updated on a regular basis, thus providing protection against new viruses. The older versions are unable to handle the newer threats and, therefore, this upgrade is essential.
