General Internet Usage

I work on a Weizmann machine yet when I try to access the Weizmann price lists from my browser I am told that only Weizmann users can access the lists.

When I try to buy something online my browser just sits around forever after I click checkout or pay.

I can not link to any ftp:// URLs.

How do I download and play audio files from the web using RealPlayer on a PC?

Why can't I use the Internal Services system on my Macintosh? I am using the latest version of Internet Explorer.

How can I access the Internal Services system from home? I am connected to the internet via an external ISP and not via Weizmann.

Using the Internal Services on Mac with IE?

The Internal Services system uses java applets. Apparently newer versions of MRJ (MacOS Runtime for Java) have a known problem when the system "primary script' is set to anything other than "Roman" (e.g. Hebrew, Cyrillic, Arabic, Japanese,...). Change your primary script to Roman, and you will be able to use the Internal Services system.
