Keeping a copy of a sent mail message in Netscape
Netscape 4: In order to keep a copy of a mail message sent via Netscape 4, go to Edit, Preferences, Mail & Newsgroups, and to Copies & Folders. Look for where it says By default, copy outgoing message to the file. Make sure that such a file exists (if you want a copy of every message you ever send), or that the space is blank (if you don't).
Netscape 7 or Mozilla: In order to keep a copy of a mail message sent via Netscape 7 or Mozilla, go to Window and choose Mail & Newsgroups. The mail window will open. In the mail window open the Edit menu and choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings. Click on Copies & Folders. Check the box Place a copy in and choose the folder where you want a copy of your mail stored. If you don't want to save a copy, make sure Place a copy in is not checked.

The mail window will open. Click on your default account (in the left hand box) and then click on View settings for this account. In the section on Idenity, click on Attach this signature and then enter the name of the signature file. From now on, your signature file will already appear in the text area of any mail message you send.
