On November 7 at the International Board, Prof. Robert Fluhr delivered a lecture entitled “The Revolution is Here,” about how technology and the wealth of scientific data are transforming science.

Prof. Fluhr is the new head of the Nancy and Stephen Grand Israel National Center for Personalized Medicine and head of the Life Sciences Core Facilities. He is also a member of the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences.

Prof. Amos Tanay of the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics and the Department of Biological Regulation spoke about his research on bioinformatics and on integrating genetic information and biomarkers into studies on the early detection of disease.
