The Swiss Society Annual Weizmann Lecture

The Swiss Society of Friends of the Weizmann Institute of Science, Chaired by Mr. Eric Stupp, hosted the Annual Weizmann Lecture in Zurich on Nov. 30. Guest speakers were Prof. David Harel from the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the Weizmann Institute and Prof. Juraj Hromkovic of the Department of Information Technology and Education at ETH Zurich. The event was held at the Aula at the University of Zurich.

In the festive event, 300 guests heard a fascinating lecture by Prof. Hromkovic about the history of computer science while Prof. Harel spoke about his research.

Ms. Caroline Weber from Kantonsschule Solothurn who participated in the 2016 Dr. Bessie Lawrence International Summer Science Institute (ISSI) shared her experience with the guests.
