High-Throughput Data Analysis

I am interested a genomic-level analysis of systems in human and mouse, using cutting-edge technology and statistical methods, such as next-generation sequencing, DNA chips and high-throughput single-cell microscopy.

Deciphering Transcriptional and Epigenetic Regulation in Pluripotent Cells

How the cell maintain its pluripotency is still largely unknown. I seek to model and analyze various pluripotent cell systems in order to decipher the epigenetic mechanisms that either maintain or induce pluripotency. Specifically I am interested in studying normal cell differentiation, stem-cell reprogramming (the process of generating stem cell from a somatic cell), and trans-differentiation.
