The experimental HEP group of the Weizmann Institute is seeking for two outstanding postdoc fellows (f/m) to work on the  ATLAS experiment and on detectors R&D.

The ongoing ATLAS physics analysis includes development of Charm tag , Search for Charged Higgs Bosons and measuring the coupling of Higgs to Charm Quarks.
The group takes part in the sTGC new small wheel upgrade project.

The successful candidates are expected to play a leading role in the ATLAS Higgs Physics analysis, and will also contribute to the detectors research developments.

Jobs description

The candidates will be based at Weizmann with frequent commuting to CERN.

They will take active role in the operation and and analysis of the ATLAS experiment.

The analysis focus is on  Higgs phsyics and flavour tag.

Requirements

Ph.D. in experimental particle physics (completed within the last four years).

Experience in LHC analysis (and Statistics) and  / or detector development are desirable.

Teamwork abilities, communication skills, fluent in English.

The positions are initially for two years, and can be extended to three years.
