PhD/Postdoc opportunity in Ecophysiology:
Global vegetation activities, especially in the expanding arid and semi-arid zones, are strongly affected by climate. We study the response of photosynthesis, and the exchange of carbon water and energy at the leaf to ecosystem scales.
We are looking for a motiva-ted PhD or postdoc who will join our dynamic and intern-ational team. You will use novel techniques of gas ex-change of CO2, H2O, carbonyl sulfide (COS), eddy covariance and remote sensing (SIF, satellites) from leaf to ecosystem scale in our forest research site and mobile lab.

המועמד שיתקבל יצטרף לצוות מחקר דינמי ובין לאומי למחקר על השפעות ההדדיות בין שינויי האקלים—צמחיה ואקוסיסטמות, ופיתוח שיטות חדשניות להערכת יצרנות ראשונית (פוטוסינתזה) בעזרת מדידות של קרבוניל-סולפיד בריכוזים זעירים באטמוספרה.
רקע דרוש רקע בלפחות חלק מהתחומים הבאי: פיסיולוגיה של צמחים, חילוף גזים, פוטוסינתזה, כימיה אטמוספרית, מיקרו-מטאורולוגיה, יכולת הפעלה ותחזוקה של מכשור מדידה ואנליזה, נכונות לעבודת מעבדה ועבודת שטח.
